Abstract

Adjuvant systemic therapy has traditionally been administered postoperatively, but preoperative (neoadjuvant) therapy is being increasingly utilized. 1 Neoadjuvant therapy has been recommended as standard care for patients with locally advanced breast cancer, although its role for operable breast cancer has not yet been clarified.
