Solid evidence accumulating proves that a comprehensive quality in both surgical and adjuvant treatment and pathohistological examination of specimens drives the outcomes of patients with colorectal cancer (CRC). More simply, whether a patient with CRC will be cured or die from cancer recurrence it depends, beyond tumor staging and aggressiveness on the level of medical care provided.
