Since there is no abstract available we provide the first paragraph

The overall 5-year mortality rate of adenocarcinoma of pancreas is 97% despite advances with surgery, chemotherapy, radiotherapy and more recently targeted treatment. The perspectives of improving cure rates, given the updated cancer genomes advances, are limited. Therefore, latest systematic pancreatic cancer exome sequencing is exploring the potential of mutations-based risk prediction and prevention. Which are the challenges and promises of this emerging research direction?
