Since there is no abstract available we provide the first paragraph.

Hereditary predisposition to cancer requires a specific either prevention or therapeutic strategy. Asymptomatic members of families with significant family history of diffuse gastric cancer and lobular breast cancer and patients with these types of cancer carrying mutations in CDH1 can benefit from a different management strategy than in those patients with sporadic gastric or breast cancer. Here, it is discussed how to overcome the challenges in the prevention or therapeutic setting of hereditary diffuse gastric cancer syndrome.
