Since there is no abstract available we provide the first paragraph.
With standardization of D2 surgery and systemic treatment with chemotherapy and targeted therapy with trastuzumab for HER2 (Human Epidermal Growth Factor Receptor 2)-positive gastric cancer, there is an end of this conventional medicine era. Now, two new scientific directions are being shaped: laparoscopic surgery for improving quality-of-life and systems pharmacology based on genome integrative analysis. Challenges and potential of this genomic medicine are discussed.
