Abstract
Despite standardization of D2 gastrectomy plus chemotherapy for resectable gastric cancer recurrence rates, particularly in the West, remain high. Development of predictive biomarkers is considered as a high research priority.
In this special report, potential and challenges of whole-genome sequencing in clinical samples are discussed.
