REVIEW

Exploration of genomic landscape in time and space reveals potential clinical implications in cancer.

D. Ziogas, MD, PhD.

Abstract
Conventional single biopsy-based of the primary tumor NGS analysis has already identified novel cancer driver genes, oncotargets and new molecular classifications. Moreover, the matched circulating cell-free DNA NGS (cfDNA-NGS) enables non-invasive early diagnosis of solid tumors. In additional functional non-coding mutations have been detected to have potential clinical implications.
